In the United Kingdom, Super Recognisers are used to assist terrorism and major crime investigations where they have solved thousands of cases, including robbery, burglary, rape and theft, by viewing CCTV (live or post event) or spotting suspects in the street. The tactic is also commonly used to find missing and vulnerable persons.
At large events such as sports events, concerts, major crowd environments including rallies, protests and demonstrations, Super Recognisers are used to spot or identify persons of interest, criminals, and violent dissidents and radicals.
